The Wegovy NovoCare price in 2026 is $199 a month for the first two fills, then $349 a month at the standard rate, per the manufacturer's own self-pay pricing as published in September 2026. That puts a year of Wegovy pens at $3,888 before a single clinician, lab or follow-up visit is priced in, and the introductory offer expires in December 2026.
The pharmacy page sells the pen. It does not sell the care around it, and the care around it is where the real cost and the real safety live. This page does the year-one arithmetic honestly and then says what that number never includes.
- NovoCare lists Wegovy pens at $199 a month for the first two fills, an introductory offer for new patients through December 2026.
- The standard self-pay rate after the introduction is $349 a month.
- Year one of pens at those prices is $3,888: $398 for months one and two, $3,490 for the remaining ten.
- The pharmacy price includes no clinician, no labs and no monitoring; a GLP-1 titration without those is self-management of a high-potency metabolic drug.
- Medication and clinical care are two separate charges. Our fee covers the clinical layer only, and nothing is added to the pharmacy's price.
Wegovy through NovoCare, 2026
Manufacturer self-pay prices as published September 2026
| Period | Listed price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| First fill | $199 per month | Introductory offer for new patients |
| Second fill | $199 per month | Introductory offer through December 2026 |
| Months 3 onward | $349 per month | Standard self-pay rate |
| Wegovy pill, lower doses | From $149 per month | Separate product, priced by dose |
The year-one math, stated plainly
Two fills at $199 is $398. Ten months at $349 is $3,490. A patient who starts in January and titrates on schedule pays $3,888 for the medication in year one. If the introductory offer is still running when they start, that is the number; if it lapses, the standard rate applies from fill three, and the total rises.
Three things move that figure. First, the offer window: $199 exists only for new patients through December 2026. Second, titration: patients who step up slowly and sit on lower doses longer pay the per-month rate longer, so pace changes the total. Third, refills: a year of treatment means twelve fills, not ten, and a missed month mid-titration has to be repeated.
What the $349 never includes
NovoCare fills what a prescriber orders. The prescriber is not part of the price. Neither is anything else on the list that actually determines whether Wegovy works safely:
- A clinician who knows your history and adjusts the dose with you, not at you.
- Labs. No baseline metabolic panel, no HbA1c follow-up, no lipid or liver review on the way down.
- A reason to hold the dose. Nobody in the dispensing loop has an incentive to tell you 1.7 mg is enough when 2.4 mg bills more.
- Monitoring for what GLP-1s quietly change: lean mass, gallbladder risk, hydration, reflux, the plateau nobody wants to explain.
A questionnaire is not a clinician. The FDA has spent 2023 through 2025 warning patients about compounded copies of semaglutide precisely because the pharmacy-only layer, unattached to oversight, is where dosing errors and adverse events pile up; the same structure risk applies to a self-pay pen with nobody watching.
The SELECT trial followed more than 17,000 adults with overweight or obesity and cardiovascular disease and found semaglutide reduced major cardiovascular events alongside its metabolic effects (the NEJM paper is here). The benefit arrived inside a supervised trial. Structure is part of why the drug works.
Two charges, not one bundle
We keep the medication and the medicine's care apart on purpose, because the confusion in this category lives in platforms that blur them.
The first charge is the pharmacy's. When a clinician judges Wegovy appropriate, it is prescribed to the pharmacy you choose, at that pharmacy's own price. The $199 and the $349 are the manufacturer's numbers, not ours, and we set nothing on them, see nothing on them and take nothing on them.
The second charge is ours. One flat $299 a month covers the clinician relationship and a comprehensive Biomarker Audit every 90 days: ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP, HbA1c, lipids, insulin markers, and full hormone and thyroid panels. The first charge at sign-up is $598, which covers the first two months together. If the clinician cannot accept you into care, the $598 hold is released and you are never charged; once accepted, the first two months are non-refundable. From month three it is $299 month to month, cancel any time.
Year one, fully loaded: $3,588 for the clinical membership plus $3,888 for the pens at NovoCare's published prices, roughly $7,476 before anything else. We would rather show you that total than the $199 the pharmacy page leads with, because a person budgeting for a year deserves the real number.

The fee that never rises with the dose
The patients this page is written for are not choosing their first GLP-1. They are the ones watching a monthly bill climb as their dose does, and asking why the price of the doctor changed when the doctor did nothing.
Our fee is $299 whether the clinical answer is the lowest pen or the highest one, or no prescription at all. We have no financial interest in which dose you are on, because we earn nothing from the molecule either way. If the labs say hold at a lower dose and work on the metabolic drivers underneath, that is what we recommend, and the fee does not move.
We make money when you get healthier, not when your dose gets stronger.
Who this is not for
If you want the cheapest possible semaglutide from a compounder, we are not it. We prescribe branded, FDA-approved medication only, never compounded GLP-1, and we will not pretend the FDA is ambiguous about that. If you want a one-time pen with no follow-up, the manufacturer's site sells that and you do not need us.
We are built for the person who wants the branded drug at the pharmacy's price and a clinician who reads the labs behind it, quarterly, for a fee that does not change.
FAQ
What is the Wegovy NovoCare price in 2026?
$199 a month for the first two fills as a new-patient introductory offer through December 2026, then $349 a month at the standard self-pay rate. The prices are the manufacturer's, published in September 2026, and they can change; check the source before you rely on either figure.
How much is a full year of Wegovy pens at those prices?
$3,888: two fills at $199 is $398, and ten months at $349 is $3,490. That total excludes any clinician, labs or follow-up care, which is why the all-in number matters more than the introductory one.
Does the introductory $199 price last the whole year?
No. It applies to the first two fills for new patients and runs through December 2026. From the third fill the standard $349 rate applies.
Does GoodLife Health mark up Wegovy?
No. Medication is prescribed to your pharmacy and billed by that pharmacy at its own price. We set nothing, see nothing and take nothing on it. Our $299 monthly fee covers the clinician and the quarterly Biomarker Audit, and it never changes with the dose.
Do I still need labs if NovoCare ships the pen?
Yes. A GLP-1 changes metabolism, lean mass, lipids and glucose handling. Without a quarterly panel nobody is checking whether it is doing so safely or whether the dose is still right, which is the gap the clinical layer exists to close.
Can I use NovoCare pricing with a GoodLife Health clinician?
Yes. You are free to fill the branded pen wherever the price is best. Our fee covers the clinical relationship and the labs, not the dispensing, and nothing we charge depends on where you buy the medication.
