I just reviewed your labs. Your thyroid and cortisol explain a lot. We recommend hormone optimization.
Your hormones are holding up. Looks like you're following the diet and working out hard.
I'm still not losing weight!
Your A1c is 7.8 — that's diabetic range. We're adding GLP-1 to your protocol.
GoodLife Health members typically lose 17–22.5% of their body weight.
In the 68-week SURMOUNT-1 trial of tirzepatide, participants lost an average of 21% (up to 22.5%) of their body weight. In the 68-week STEP-1 trial of semaglutide, participants lost an average of 14.9% (up to 17.4%).*† Tier 2 covers both at $399.
*Tirzepatide Once Weekly for the Treatment of Obesity, NEJM (2022) · †Once-Weekly Semaglutide in Adults with Overweight or Obesity, NEJM (2021)
Lasting good health or your first month back
If after your first month you feel GoodLife Health isn't right for you, we'll refund your membership in full. No questions asked.
Am I eligible?Your labs say you're normal while you feel anything but.
Standard reference ranges on a blood test are statistical averages, not optimal targets. A testosterone level in the bottom 10% of the population is still "normal." A thyroid panel where TSH is creeping up but T3 is still in range is "normal." Cortisol patterns are almost never tested in primary care at all. We don't treat numbers. We treat patients. If your hormones are out of balance, GLP-1 will not work the way it should — and the weight will come back. That's why hormone optimization is part of what we do, not an upsell.
What you're feeling
- Persistent fatigue that sleep doesn't fix
- Weight gain, especially around the midsection
- Brain fog and difficulty concentrating
- Low libido and changes in sexual function
- Disrupted sleep — falling asleep or staying asleep
- Mood changes, anxiety, irritability
- Hair thinning, skin changes
- Hot flashes or night sweats
What we actually test for
- Full thyroid panel (TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3, antibodies)
- Sex hormones — estradiol, progesterone, total and free testosterone, DHEA-S
- Cortisol patterns and adrenal function
- Insulin, fasting glucose, HbA1c — the metabolic picture
- Inflammatory markers (hs-CRP)
- Sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG)
Hormone optimization isn't about pushing every number to the top of the range. It's about reading the whole pattern, finding what's actually driving how you feel, and building a protocol that addresses the cause. When your hormones are right, your body responds to weight loss the way it's supposed to. When they aren't, no medication is going to fix that. This is also why hormone optimization is the most enduring part of what we do — over 80% of our hormone members are still on protocol a year later. Their bodies need it, the protocol works, and they feel the difference.

What Makes GoodLife Health Different.
Telehealth has split into three traps: legacy platforms that mark branded medication up to $1,899 a month, compounding-only services selling copies under FDA scrutiny, and concierge clinics that bill by the year. GoodLife Health is the only one that combines medical weight loss, hormone optimization, and ongoing primary care under a single licensed clinician — with comprehensive labs included, and no surprises.

The relationship is the medicine
"I finally feel like I have a real doctor again."
After years of having a PCP who was attentive and truly knew me, he retired. Since moving to Tucson I've struggled — every time I establish a relationship with a PCP, they change offices. And when I do get seen, I feel more like something on a conveyor belt than a patient. What a relief to find Dr. K and her team. They actually get to know you. They are attentive, thorough, and genuinely care. I finally feel like I have a real doctor again. Thank you!
"Dr. K really listened to my concerns."
I just had my appointment last week, and it was the most wonderful experience. Dr. K was amazing, she really listened to my concerns and gave me the knowledge I needed and was so caring. So happy I found an amazing provider. The staff was so awesome! Shout out to Kelly and Alvia for being kind and amazing! You guys rock!
"The best of the best doctor."
I needed a new PC physician. Her practice welcomed me in immediately. They ordered a complete blood work up before the visit, something my previous physician failed to do for years.
Then I met NP Kristin Makinajyan! Oh my gosh!! She listened, I mean really listened to me as the physical began. She addressed every one of my concerns and added a few from the results of the blood tests.
She went through my lengthy list of medications and tweaked them, schooled me, and left me feeling as though I had seen the best of the best doctor.
I feel so relieved and comfortable having visited NP Makinajyan and her team. Every one I met made me confident that my health was their number one professional goal!!
"Kristin helped me get my life back."
Kristin helped me greatly get my life back on track and control of my weight loss journey.
Direct answers from your clinical team
- Your membership includes ongoing access to your clinician and the broader clinical team, monthly nurse check-ins, your onboarding lab panel, your nutrition and lifestyle protocol, and 24/7 secure chat with the clinical team. Higher tiers add hormone therapy (Tier 1) and GLP-1 medical weight loss with branded medication routing (Tier 2). Medication costs on the GLP-1 pathway are paid directly to the manufacturer (LillyDirect or NovoCare) or covered by insurance with our AI prior authorization.
- No. Tier 2 covers comprehensive GLP-1 clinical management at $399 per month regardless of which medication your clinician determines is right for your biology — Wegovy (semaglutide) or Zepbound (tirzepatide). The clinical work is the same: full labs, contraindication screening, dose titration, side-effect management, ongoing monitoring. Other platforms upcharge by hundreds of dollars for tirzepatide. We don't, because charging more for a different molecule penalizes biology.
- Those platforms sell prescriptions through anonymous providers. We sell access to a named, licensed clinician who knows your labs, your history, and your goals. Hormones and GLP-1 weight loss protocols are recommended within that relationship, never advertised in isolation.
- Yes. Membership is month-to-month with no contract. Your first month is fully refundable if GoodLife Health isn't the right fit.
- Our clinicians practice independently in Arizona and California. For other states, we partner with collaborating physicians to provide care in 22+ additional states. Eligibility check confirms availability in your state.
- No, and that's intentional. Insurance is the reason your previous clinician had 8 minutes for you. Direct Primary Care means you pay the clinician directly, the clinician works for you, and the relationship is the product. Many members pay with HSA/FSA dollars.
