How we compare

What Makes GoodLife Health Different.

Telehealth has split into three traps: legacy platforms that mark branded medication up to $1,899 a month, compounding-only services selling copies under FDA scrutiny, and concierge clinics that bill by the year. GoodLife Health is the only one that combines labs, clinical care, and branded FDA-approved medications for cardiometabolic and hormone optimization — under one $299 monthly membership, with medications billed by the pharmacy at pharmacy cost and no markup.

How your membership begins

Two months to know your body. Then ongoing care that follows your labs.

Cardiometabolic optimization begins with a diagnostic foundation, which is why membership starts with a two-month commitment: $598 covers your first two months, then $299 a month, month to month. Here is how those two months are designed and what ongoing care looks like after them.

Month 1 · Membership begins

Clinical intake and your first Biomarker Audit.

This is where the work begins. Your clinician conducts a comprehensive intake — your full medical history, your weight history, your symptoms, your goals, the medications and supplements you are already taking, and what previous approaches have or have not worked. Your clinician orders your first Biomarker Audit: a comprehensive panel covering hormones, thyroid, metabolic markers, insulin, lipids, inflammation, and nutrient status — the first of four per year (one every 90 days) included in your $299 membership. For most members, this panel reveals the underlying cardiometabolic picture that prior doctors missed — which is also why prior attempts at weight loss either did not work or did not last.

Month 2 · Targeted labs and your clinical recommendation

The picture sharpens. Your protocol is written.

Your clinician orders a second, more targeted round of labs based on what the first showed. By the end of month two, your clinician writes your protocol — and for most members, that protocol includes some combination of hormone optimization, medical weight loss with GLP-1, or both, depending on what your labs and your goals actually call for. The protocol is yours to read, ask questions about, and decide on with your clinician. No automatic prescriptions, no surprise add-ons, no medication without the clinical reasoning behind it documented. This diagnostic foundation is why membership begins with a two-month commitment: it takes two months to build properly, and everything after runs on it.

Month 3 and beyond · Ongoing, month to month

Your protocol begins. Your care continues at $299 a month.

If your protocol includes a GLP-1, this is when your medication arrives — a branded product obtained directly from the manufacturer or through your insurance, dosed by your clinician based on your specific metabolic profile, with monitoring built in. If hormone optimization is part of the plan, it begins now too. From here forward, membership simply continues month to month at $299: monthly clinical check-ins, a fresh Biomarker Audit every 90 days, and a protocol adjusted against your labs rather than left on autopilot. The diagnostic work is done. The plan is written. From here forward, the work is real care.

This is what cardiometabolic optimization looks like in practice. Two months to build the clinical foundation, then ongoing care that follows your labs. One clinician. A protocol written for your body, not pulled from a template. The weight comes off, and stays off, because you understand why.

The scale of American cardiometabolic disease

Cardiometabolic disease is the largest untreated chronic condition in American adults.

The reason a $299 cardiometabolic membership is priced where it is — above transactional GLP-1 platforms, well below concierge — is the scale and the complexity of the disease it is designed to treat. A single-molecule prescription is not the answer for a population where the underlying condition is multi-system by definition.

38.7%

of American adults meet the clinical criteria for metabolic syndrome — abdominal weight that won't shift, insulin resistance building in the background, cholesterol drifting, blood pressure creeping. Nearly 4 in 10 people you know are carrying the same picture. Most of them have been told the labs are fine.

Trends and Prevalence of the Metabolic Syndrome Among US Adults, JAMA, December 2025

~100M

American adults living with the same underlying picture, undiagnosed at the protocol level. An 8-minute insurance appointment isn't enough to see the pattern, let alone treat it — which is why so many people leave their doctor feeling like something is wrong and no one will name it.

Majority

of adults with obesity are also managing insulin resistance, blood pressure, or cholesterol at the same time. This is the picture a single GLP-1 prescription can't resolve on its own — and why treating any one piece in isolation rarely holds.

The way out of this picture is a clinician who runs the right labs, reads them personally, and treats hormones, thyroid, insulin, lipids, inflammation, and weight as one connected system — because that's what they are. That's the work your $299 monthly membership pays for. It's the care you should have gotten from your last doctor.

Frequently asked questions

Everything about membership

  • One flat $299/month covers your comprehensive cardiometabolic lab panel every 90 days — 4 panels per year — (hormones, thyroid, insulin, metabolic markers, lipids, inflammation, nutrient status), ongoing clinical care, monthly clinical check-ins, your protocol, and 24/7 secure messaging. Additional labs at your clinician's discretion beyond the quarterly panel are billed separately by the lab. When medication is clinically indicated — a branded GLP-1, FDA-approved HRT, thyroid, or a cardiometabolic protocol — the prescription routes to the pharmacy and the pharmacy bills you at pharmacy cost. GoodLife Health takes no pharmacy margin.
  • Yes — one comprehensive cardiometabolic lab panel every 90 days (4 panels per year) is included in the $299 monthly membership fee. That covers your onboarding panel plus a quarterly re-panel to track how your protocol is working. Additional labs your clinician orders beyond that quarterly schedule are billed separately by the lab. This quarterly cadence is the diagnostic foundation your clinician uses to write and adjust your protocol — most competitors either charge for labs separately every visit or don't order them at all.
  • Access to branded FDA-approved GLP-1s (Wegovy, Zepbound, Mounjaro, Ozempic) is part of the membership when clinically indicated — meaning your clinician can prescribe them without any tier upgrade or additional fee. The medications themselves are billed by the pharmacy at pharmacy cost (our partner pharmacy network, LillyDirect, NovoCare, or your insurance), with no GoodLife markup, no molecule upcharge, and no dose upcharge.
  • Two-month commitment at signup. The first charge is $598 (two months × $299), then $299/month month-to-month with no contract. The two months exist so month one covers your comprehensive labs and first clinical visit, and month two lets your clinician write and begin your protocol.
  • Tiers only make sense if the platform captures margin on the medications. We pass medications through at pharmacy cost — no markup — so there's nothing to gate. One membership, one fee, one clinical relationship. Whether your protocol calls for a GLP-1, HRT, thyroid, or a lifestyle-first plan, the $299 doesn't change.
  • No. The $299 membership is the same regardless of which branded medication is prescribed. Wegovy, Zepbound, Mounjaro, Ozempic — same fee. Meds billed at pharmacy cost by the pharmacy. No molecule upcharge, no dose upcharge.
  • Yes, after your initial two-month commitment. From month three onward, membership is month-to-month with no contract. Cancel any time and billing stops at the next cycle.
  • No. You pay the clinical team directly, which is why they can spend real time with you instead of running eight-minute insurance appointments. Many members pay the monthly membership using pre-tax HSA or FSA dollars. Medications billed by the pharmacy can often go through your insurance if you have coverage — that's between you and the pharmacy.
