Where the money usually goes

When the drug is the product, the prescription is the sale.

In much of telehealth, the company earns on the medication. The price you pay bundles the drug with the visit, so the business grows when more people are prescribed, stay prescribed and move up a dose.

That is not a judgment about any one clinician. It is what the model rewards. A plan that earns on the refill has every reason to keep the refill coming, and little reason to ask whether you still need it.

You should never have to wonder whether the person writing your prescription is also selling it to you.

How it works here

Your pharmacy sets the price. We are not in it.

When your clinician decides a medication is indicated, the prescription goes to the pharmacy you choose. You pay that pharmacy directly, at its own price, for pickup or delivery. GoodLife Health sets nothing, sees nothing and takes nothing on it.

Your membership is $299 a month, and it is the same whatever is prescribed and at whatever dose: no molecule upcharge, no dose upcharge, and the same fee when the right answer is no medication at all.

As published by the manufacturers in September 2026: through NovoCare, Wegovy pens are $199 a month for the first two fills (an introductory offer for new patients through December 2026) and $349 a month after, and the Wegovy pill starts at $149 a month at lower doses; through LillyDirect, Zepbound vials are $299 to $449 a month depending on dose. Whether your insurance covers a medication is between you, your plan and your pharmacy. Whatever the price, it is the pharmacy’s, and none of it comes to us.

Follow the money

So what is different?

When the drug is the product
  • The visit and the drug sold as one price
  • Earns more when more is prescribed
  • Earns more when the dose goes up
  • Often compounded drugs
  • The cost of the drug folded into a plan you cannot see inside
  • Little reason to stop a medication you no longer need
How GoodLife Health does it
  • The membership and the medication kept apart, on purpose
  • $0 on any prescription
  • The same $299 a month at every dose
  • Branded FDA-approved medication only, when indicated
  • Your pharmacy’s own price, paid to your pharmacy
  • A protocol reviewed every 90 days, including whether you still need a medication

Prescribing is a clinical decision, never a sales target.

What will you test that my doctor never has?

A typical annual panel
  • Basic metabolic panel
  • Cholesterol (lipid panel)
  • Blood count
Your GoodLife Health panel: baseline, then every 90 days
  • Hs-CRP
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
  • TSH With Reflex To Free T4
  • Fasting Insulin
  • Lipoprotein (A)
  • Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c)
  • Lipid Panel, Standard
  • Apolipoprotein B (ApoB)
  • CBC (Includes Differential And Platelets)

Anything beyond these nine is ordered by your clinician only when there is a reason and is billed by the lab.

What exactly do you do and why should it matter to me?

We call ourselves a data-driven telehealth platform delivering precision direct primary care for longevity and chronic disease management. Here is what each of those words gets you.

Data-Driven Platform
Your labs, visits, medications and messages, once scattered across offices, now live in one place. Every panel adds to your Health Story, so you can see where you stand and what to work on next.
Telehealth
Video visits and messaging from home or wherever you are. No drive, no waiting room, no clipboard, no day lost to a 15-minute visit. Your only trip is a walk-in Quest draw near you, four times a year.
Precision Direct Primary Care
A typical primary care visit has no time to dig into your biochemistry. We start there, reading your biomarkers for your exact cardiometabolic picture, then building your protocol (nutrition, exercise and, when indicated, branded GLP‑1 or hormone therapy) and monitoring and adjusting it every 90 days.
Longevity
Measuring, predicting and preventing what could kill you over the next 25 years. It is designed into every panel, every plan and the portal where you follow your progress.
Chronic Disease Management
Heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and prediabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, chronic kidney disease and fatty liver disease, caught early and followed every quarter.
Why It Matters to You
Longevity clinics commonly charge $10,000 to $50,000 a year for a protocol built around one patient’s biomarkers. Yours is built on your own panel and history, inside $299 a month.

What can you actually help me with?

Cardiometabolic optimization

  • Type 2 diabetes and prediabetes
  • Insulin resistance and a rising A1c
  • High ApoB, LDL or triglycerides
  • High blood pressure
  • Labs your doctor called normal

Medical weight loss

  • Weight that comes back after every diet
  • A plateau on a GLP-1 you already take
  • A dose that keeps climbing
  • Side effects nobody is managing
  • Losing the weight, not your muscle

Hormone optimization

  • Perimenopause and menopause
  • Low testosterone
  • A thyroid that is “in range” but not right
  • Symptoms a doctor dismissed
  • Low libido and other sexual health changes
The platform

What is the platform and what do I do with it?

01

Three steps, all from home

Your medical history, your identity and a walk-in draw at a Quest location near you. The portal shows you what is next and nothing else.

02

Every marker, every quarter

Your panel lands in your portal with where each number sits against its target and which way it moved since last time.

03

Cassandra, on your side

Ask Cassandra about any result, day or night. She explains what a marker like your HbA1c means and how it moved, then hands you the exact question to bring to your clinician. Education, never a diagnosis.

04

Your care team, in writing

Message your care team from anywhere. Non-urgent questions are answered within 24 hours, urgent ones the same day.

05

Your prescriptions, your pharmacy

Every prescription goes straight to the pharmacy you choose, and you pay the pharmacy directly, for pickup or delivery. Branded FDA-approved medication only, when the evidence says it is indicated. No compounded GLP-1s, no peptides, and we make nothing on any of it.

06

The meaning behind your numbers

Cassandra draws your visits, care notes, labs and protocol into one Health Story you can come back to, so nothing starts over from scratch.

Who this is for

Is this for me?

For you if

You want medication only when your own markers call for it, prescribed by a clinician who earns nothing on what is prescribed, at your pharmacy’s own price. You will not put a compounded GLP-1 or an unproven peptide in your body, and you want someone to tell you when a medication is no longer needed. $299 a month is a choice, not a strain.

Not for you if

You want the cheapest prescription, a prescription without labs, or compounded medication, peptides or pellets. You expect us to bill your insurance or run a prior authorization. You need urgent, pediatric or full-scope primary care. Or your medical history is one our clinicians cannot safely treat online: type 1 diabetes, a current eating disorder, a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2, a current or planned pregnancy, or an age under 18. We treat patients in the United States only.

Questions

Your questions answered.

Do you really make nothing on medication?

Nothing. The prescription goes to the pharmacy you choose and you pay the pharmacy directly, at its own price. GoodLife Health sets nothing, sees nothing and takes nothing on it, and our fee is the same whatever is prescribed.

Then how does GoodLife Health make money?

From the membership: $299 a month, which pays for your clinician’s time, four Quest panels a year, your protocol and the platform. That is the whole business.

Is medication included in the $299?

No. Medication is kept apart on purpose, so nothing we recommend can be a sales motive. When it is indicated, you pay your pharmacy for it, or your plan does if it covers it.

Do you take insurance?

No. You pay the membership directly, which is what buys your clinician’s time. Keep your insurance for hospital and emergency care.

Can I cancel?

Yes. The first two months are a commitment, held on your card at sign-up and charged once you are accepted. From month three, the membership is month to month, and you can cancel from your portal. It runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

What if I am not accepted?

The $598 hold is released and you are never charged. Once you are accepted, the first two months are non-refundable.

Who are the clinicians?

Board-certified physicians licensed in all 50 states, working to clinical protocols designed by our co-founder, Dr. Kristin Makinajyan, DNP, FNP-BC.

Your prescription should never be anyone’s sales target.

Start with your own numbers, a clinician who stays with you and a fee that is the same whatever is prescribed. Your medication, when you need it, is between you and your pharmacy.
